Train information

Our local train operator is Northern. Hebden Bridge is on the Caldervale Line, with direct train services to Leeds, York, Manchester Victoria, Chester, Ellesmere Port and Blackpool.

NB. Manchester Piccadilly/Manchester Airport - to avoid having to cross Manchester from Victoria Station an alternative route is to go to Dewsbury and take the Airport train from there. There is a half-hourly daytime service Monday to Friday and hourly Sunday: 43 mins to Piccadilly; 66 mins to the airport. For details see Trans-Pennine Express.

"Todmorden Curve"

Approximately 400 yards of track comprising the 'Todmorden curve' re-opened in May 2014 making new journeys possible and reduced travel times.

Due to lack of rolling stock, a regular service between Blackburn and Manchester over Copy Pit only started a year later on 18 May 2015.

Hebden Bridge to Huddersfield

There are no direct trains between Hebden Bridge and Huddersfield. Passengers need to change either at Halifax or at Brighouse.
